October is an excellent time to visit Eckert’s in Belleville (Honey Crisp apples are available to be picked) or take advantage of some late summer walking at one of our many area parks. Drost Park in Maryville is a particularly great and easy walk: dog friendly and has ponds and some great swings and slides for the grandkids. Don’t mourn the end of summer; take advantage of your great Tanglewood streets and trails! Oh and did you go to the Edwardsville Art Fair At City Park on September 23-25 This was an excellent show, featuring regional artists, including one notable entrant from Caseyville. Jewelry, paintings; a variety of very sophisticated items will give you some fresh design ideas for your beautiful Tanglewood home!
